Right-hand drive (RHD) Jeeps are pretty hard to find, so that may beg the question:
Would it be better to just buy a conversion kit for my left-hand drive Jeep?
The simple answer: probably not.
It’s possible to buy a vehicle conversion kit for a couple hundred dollars that may be passable, but it’s far from a professional job and looks extremely unattractive. It’s also possible to buy a more complex conversion kit and really gut your car, but it could take a lot of time, tools and know-how to accomplish this.
As automoblog.net explains:
A proper DIY conversion is probably your best option though, if you have the skills and parts/tools available. But keep in mind it’s really easy to screw this up if you don’t know what you’re doing and possibly kill yourself or another driver.
The best option is to buy a factory-made RHD Jeep because you have the professionalism and safety, along with an attractive interior.
