While binders may not be the most exciting topic, for those in need of office supplies its worth knowing exactly what updating a binder can do for your business.
One way binders can be updated is through the addition of inside pockets. Interior binder pockets are beneficial because they increase the usability of a three-ring binder. An inside pocket covers half of either the front or back of the binder.
NOTE: Be aware that placing a pocket on the back panel of a binder with D-rings can make it hard to access the pocket properly. The standard size is 5” tall for a standard 8.5” x 11” binder.
Luckily, inside pockets are relatively inexpensive. In fact, they’re the cheapest way to make your binder more functional and look better at the same time. These pockets come in either clear vinyl or a color match vinyl.
Inside pockets can be added to your binder(s) at the time of purchase, or you can purchase them at a later time. However, if you choose to install pockets after the fact, your only option is a self-application adhesive variety. This means you’re stuck with the tedious job of ensuring the pocket is put on straight.
When it comes to professional binders, it pays to think ahead!
