Three ring binders are used for organizational purposes in a broad range of environments, from the offices of business executive boardrooms to construction sites and schoolrooms. Regardless of the task, there’s a high quality three ring binder for the job.
In fact, binders can be made custom in a variety of materials to fit the needs of individuals. Custom made binders are designed and constructed out of the highest quality poly and vinyl material. Here’s a closer look at what goes into each individual three ring binder.
Vinyl Binder Construction
Vinyl binders come with sturdy, rigid covers that can be a single color or decorated with a unique design. Many people consider vinyl binders the most visually pleasing, making them great for office environments as product catalogs, distribution manuals, employee handbooks, instructional manuals, and more.
It’s possible to create a custom vinyl binder and adjust the ring capacities, sheet sizes, ring style, colors, finishes, and other details.
A standard vinyl binder is made of 12-gauge material that has either a Sueduene (matte), dull French calf, or shiny French calf finish. If you’re looking for a higher end, leather-like appearance without the cost, an upgrade to Castilian vinyl is also available. Each vinyl binder can be printed with single or multi-color customized text and logos to match the specific PMS# (pantone matching system) of your company. Vinyl binders can also be designed using four color processing (full color design).
Inside the binder, you’ll find high quality nickel ring mechanisms with high tension and solid rivet mounting. You can choose which ring shape, size, and capacity are most appropriate for your needs. Ring options include round and D-ring in standard 3 ring, 2 ring, 4 ring, 6 ring, and 7 ring capacities or more if necessary. The binders have high quality nickel ring mechanisms installed, featuring high tension and solid rivet mounting. Vinyl binders can also be made with a rivetless/hidden rivet option using prongs mounted directly into the chipboard.
Poly Binder Construction
Poly binders are the most durable type of three ring binder, being constructed out of a polyethylene material that comes in various thicknesses ranging from .023 to .110 gauge. Similar to vinyl binders, poly binders can also be printed with designs in a number of colors. Text and logo is printed using special ink that’s designed to adhere to the poly material, preventing it from flaking or washing off.
Furthermore, all the same ring mechanism size and capacity options that are available to vinyl binders can also be chosen for poly binders with the exception of rivetless metals.
Pad Holders
In addition to vinyl and poly binders, specialized pad holders are available with the same selection as vinyl binders with imprinting options for text and logo. Pad binders don’t come with rings. Usually pad holders have 5″ tall pockets inside the front pockets that can hold extra papers and business cards. On the inside they have a 10″ pocket that can be used to hold chipboard backing of notepads for easy removal and replacement.
